Shop owner, Ashley Eaton attended SUNY New Paltz and immediately fell in love with the art of metalsmithing. Ashley held an internship with Ed Levin Jewelry in 2005 where she learned the ins and outs of production jewelry and design.  In 2006, she graduated with a BFA in Metal.  Following graduation Ashley searched far and wide for a job and landed a position at local upstate NY store, Glennpeter Jewelers, as a bench jeweler.  She learned so many valuable technical skills in the year and a half at this position, however Ashley longed to get back to her creative roots.

In 2008, Ashley joined up with fellow SUNY New Paltz alum and best pal, Emily Sajban, to form their jewelry shop Torch Song Metals in Nyack, NY. After 5 glorious years of being inspired by and working along side her best friend, Ashley moved her studio to Chicago, Illinois in October 2013 to join her husband in the windy city for a new and exciting adventure. In April 2014, Emily and her husband moved to Buffalo, NY where Emily now runs her jewelry shop: BonFire Craft

Ashley is currently working out of a studio in Syracuse, NY, creating custom, fine, limited production and bespoke bridal jewelry. You can find her jewelry online, at handmade markets and at brick and mortar shops from coast to coast. When she’s not in her studio, Ashley can be found furthering her jeweler education at New Approach School for Jewelers, GRS and attending gem shows to source the perfect stones for her work. Believe it or not, Ashley has other special interests which include shouting from the rooftops about her favorite band: Silverchair, her cats, reading, traveling, working out at OTF, scouring the internet for the best places to eat and get a cocktails. Honestly the list is endless, this girl has too many interests. Ashley and her husband welcomed their first child, a son, on January 20th, 2019. She considers him her greatest custom project to date.
